Offering my services?

I'm tempted to offer my services for skinning.  I've gone over several of my ships and had to do some repairs, mostly to terrible glow-mapping. 

note to Star Force Productions: the E7 was so badly glowmapped, it was rediculus!

however, since I tend to use "flat" colors, it might not be prudent.

i KNOW it must be.  I started using an alternate browser for downloading ships (and I also grabbed a few during the corruption thingy). 
Aces: what I meant by terrible is rushed, misaimed pixles, crooked edges, very obvious missing peices, etc.  I should get a screencap.

I agree, the E7 is one of my fave Klingon ships, i think it looks great.

I can see your intention is good, but SF2 has been around the community a long time, and you should have PM'ed that and not stated it publically, im sure you did not mean to be insulting but it does come across that way mate.

Well someone has a attitude lol, first thing if i have something to ask a moder i ask them thru pm's secondly these guys are doing this part time, there do it in there spare time when most of us actually play the game or draw somethings they would love to see in the game, so i think you should consider a bit more of a diplomatic attitude when in here, i for one loved the E7 and it worked just fine for me, dont think it could be your graphics card do you?

Besides, i grabbed the E7 back when filefront was having so much trouble.  that may have been the problem.  I'll re DL, and double check. 

the only thing I can't do is adjust the levels of the Alpha brightness.  I thought I could do it by adjusting the layer transparancy after bumping the selections to layers, but it didn't really work.  then again, the ship i tried to fix (even after re DLing) is still blacked out.

Admril Homer:  i have a really smooth play even with this bone stock machine.  as long as I don't get too enthusiastic with addons.  what it looked like was "pick" problems with a selection wand keyed to colors.  i get that all the time if I don't adjust the sensetivity levels of the tool.

Well, it's raven you need to worry about (and I insult him all the time anyways..), as I didn't do the glows or anything other than the HP. But I think you either downloaded an outdated version long ago or something because I downloaded it yesterday and the glows all line up with the textures. There was an issue initially, but it it was fixed months ago. Is anyone else having issues with it?

well, when I look at it, it seems fine. Now, I dunno how well it lights ingame ebcause i don't think I ever tested it as it was a christmas release and as usualy my procrastination forced me ino hp'ing till 4 hrs before christmas to get them all done but so far as I know it works fine. Maybe someone else with the ship could chime in with a pic so we can see if it works?

it HAS to be the one I DLed then.  the stuff I fixed was TINY, though.  and there's no problem with anything BUT the micro-goofs in the txture.  a lot of the Klingon ships are a bit dim for my taste.
