Here is a TOS Cheyenne concept.  Comments would be appreciated.

In all honesty, i'd say it's more reminiscent of a TOS Constellation Class (with the Cheyenne itself being more of a "TNG Constellation Class")

I like this concept. Looks good, seems to have all the necessary parts. Only thing missing is a shuttlebay, but perhaps one is not needed. Cookie for you in any case.

The chayennes nacelles would be more "V"-shaped rather than "T" right?  :wtf

Thanks for the Cookie Darkthunder.  I guess you are right, it does look more like a Constellation.  Here is another variant I was toying with, an Interceptor:

The idea is good. It still looks a little strange. Maybe if you reduce the angle of the nacelle pylons slightly though, it would look better.

Example:
Instead of like X, you could try something like this ><. The bottom nacelles should be flipped the right way up aswell IMHO.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

[unavoidable SW-reference]"Lock the S-Foils on attack position!"[/unavoidable SW reference]

I like it, but the if it would be TOS-era representation of The Constellation-Class, there should be shuttlebays and cargo doors on the saucer, not to mention torpedo launchers on the pylons.

That second configuration makes me think of a TOS-era Prometheus Class actually. I would concur with Billz suggestion for the pylons.

I will refrence the TMP Constellation for some cues and change the TOS concept from a Cheyenne to a Constallation.  Will post pics as soon as I make the re-configurations.

Not sure what I will do with the X ship.

maybe you could put drop bays into the bottom of the saucer.

Here's Saladin variant I made (using Phaser's Saladin and Cage Connie) for a personal project that shows what I mean:

I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I'd move the deflector dish to the front of the saucer in the Constellation. Otherwise, it looks good, better than the X-Nacelles :P

I think the bridge dome needs to be the correct shape, the reg needs work too, overall shape is good, like both varients.

I think pointman has made any observation I would, apart from that good work.

Munoz - I for one liked the I-shape formation more than the X. What I would do though is add some sort of pod or structure to the end of each vertical strut where it meets the horizontal strut.

any chance of a jjconnie?

I'd move the deflector to the saucer itself (sort of like the one on the NX class) and shrink that donut shaped thing which the bridge is sat on. And perhaps move the whole bridge assembly forward a touch.

Nice work though!
I miss :bigdance:

I prefer the first varient to be honest. Perhaps having shuttlebay doors at the front of the saucer section. Also I'd move the deflector dish to where the bottom nacelles connect to the ventral supporting strut.
