layout's great.  I like that links get highlighted, but it's all just pointless if voting and login etc don't get fixed.

Yeah, I like it but it might take some time to get used to the layout.
For me the voting works in polls but not PODT.
Search suggestions don't work but regular search does.

I swear that it's one of the older Filefront builds... Might just be me with Deja Vu but there is something strongly familiar about the layout.

I don't know, The new PotD Position is strange, even though it fits with the PotM on the other site on most FFsites. What i find pretty much anerving(sp?) is that new Advertisement Position directly below the "Latest Files" heading.

The new layout creeped me out. The text looks a bit too big and I don't like the fact PotD has been relegated to the sidelines. Also the links to all the different menus of ships and stuff, again, text too big, me no likey.

I preferred the old layout (at the minute). :(
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

Do not like it. Why are they spending time on layouts when half of the site functions do not work?

i am very much more used to the oldschool layout, as it had been for years...
also it would be nice if the links to BCS and Excalibur (and their sub-links) were to be put back on on the left (under "The Community"), as well as the links that were on the right (like to the KM site and others)...

edit - ok i see one link to BCS, and one to Excalibur on the bottom of the page...  they were better towards the top on the left IMO as well as their sub-links, under BCC and its sub-links...

i dunno, i think the top 25 downloads and the "all downloads" would be better if they switched spots lol
and altho i rarely check the FF forums, it was easier to see anything new at the top of the page, instead of having to scroll down...

i think the old layout was better...

i do think it is kinda neat seeing the joined date tho, next to posts...
here i thought i joined the BC Community in Spring of 2003, but apparently i go back September 18th, 2002 lol

perhaps people should also post their feelings here at BCfiles itself...

(i've renamed the thread and added a poll here to match the one at BCFiles...)

Not Bad, but accepting 'Change' can be Difficult...

Previous layout had a more overview.
But that's my opinion.
