TOS Vanguard pathfinder

She is supposed to be a pathfinder/long range scout ship.  Comments and suggestions are welcome as always.

a tos Akyazi class scout,
ONE: lower the deflector
TWO: give it two pylons to hold the deflector http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/screenshots/File/50363/3
THREE: make it look like a Norway class, with 2 engineering sections
every think of making tmp refits?

Overall, not a bad concept.  However, the fact that the neck ends abruptly makes the ship look incomplete.  Maybe moving the deflector pod from the middle of the neck to the very bottom of it might help?  Just a thought.

I like it as is.  Be glad he took the time to round out the bottom of the neck. ;)

Agreed, also lowering the deflector makes for a bigger target.

Looks good.

The deflector isn't any less vulnerable in it's current position than it would be if it were moved at the end of the neck if you really think about it.

Thanks for noticing Farshot.  :)

Added a stripe at the end of the pylon to help give it some "closure"

I'd be tempted just to stick another nacelle on the end of that pylon. :P

If it makes it go any faster, then I'm all for it. It is a pathfinder/long range scout ship.

Looks fine to me. Thou, i'd suggest dropping the nacelles down a little bit, and bringing them in closer towards the hull.

Perhaps something like this?
