After looking at some Photos from the Model I think that the thin version is closer to that.
Only the Middle Part, behind the Shuttlebay, where the radiators sit (or whatever they are), could be a tad thicker.

Not sure about that impulse engine. I'd have maybe put the shuttle bay there instead.

HOWEVAH!! The rest looks great! Maybe add a slightly steeper rise to the top of the secondary hull? It breaks the flow of the lines a little in the side profile.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the deflector of the engineering hull looks like it was taken from a another ship...possibly the CG Sovereign? Unless you built it yourself- it looks nice.

The upper structure of the saucer looks strange for a Galaxy hybrid ship. It doesn't flow with the ship. But I agree with andyp, inspiration from the Allegiance class might make this ship look better. Try to Sovereign-ify the saucer a bit.

If you could do an Olympic with a USS Nightingale reg, we could replace the old Olympic model we currently have in the SP Mod.  :)

U.S.S. Horatio NCC-10532-A

Little BACK STORY

The USS Horatio (NCC-10532) was an Ambassador-class heavy cruiser in service to Starfleet in the 24th century. From the 2340s to 2364, the Horatio was under the command of Captain Walker Keel. (TNG episode: "Conspiracy") In 2364, the Horatio rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise-D, the USS Renegade, and the USS Thomas Paine in orbit of Dytallix B so that Keel could discuss the possibility of a conspiracy in Starfleet Command with Captains Jean-Luc Picard, Tryla Scott and Rixx. Following this meeting, the Horatio was mysteriously destroyed in Sector 63. Starfleet Command believed the ship imploded and now the Horatio A is under his son Captin Jason W Keel,

Welcome back mate, sorry for you loss, i know how that feels, lost 14 in space of 9 weeks ..... i don't think i've ever been that drunk in my life, some of the Italian side of the family we where celebrating life *more than mourning* and that insisted on lots of singing dancing and drinking, but as i said, glad ur back and i'll be keeping a close eye on this, it was one of the ones i thought about trying, but i'll do the Streamrunner or Norway class as i want to do a DS9/DW era after my couple of klingon ships

Hi every been working hard. He some news I am planning to start my own business where I will be doing 3d model printing in plastic. With my software all the ships I've done for BC can be made into model made in plastic. The copyright is been looked at when it comes to ship base off Star Trek and other ship from tv & films.

If I could make you designs into plastic models would you buy them

I looked into doing this with DJ's ships awhile back.  Aside from the obvious need to get his permission, I'm fairly sure you couldn't charge money for the ships, since copyright applies if you're using any Starfleet insignia or registry information from any Star Trek series.  Another issue is that the poly count for BC will give you issues with 3D printing, because smoothing groups get tossed out in the transfer process.  You would have to completely redesign every element of the ship, which seems almost too time-consuming for my tastes.

I use milkshape to build my models and I can export them to the right file type for my 3d printer software and them seem to look alright running in the software for my printer. Just got to print them out when it comes. Plus I won't be using any Starfleet insignia or registry information the ship will be in colour plastic for the person to paint and put what ever insignia they have.
