I would import a galaxy and see how they did it in  wireframe mode.

I have had a stab at it and it is not easy.

If this is your ship I'd recommend starting something easier and work up to it.

Yeah, I feel this ship is so elegantly designed with all the sleek curves and such that it is probably out of my league right now.  Thanx man.

there's plenty of other things that need to be built. We have enough high quality galaxy right now. Build something that hasn't been done already.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

There's no harm in having a go at making it, even if we've already got enough. It could prove to be a great learning curve into future modelling.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

or he could have a new design, highly based of the galaxy-(It is a bit too tall in the top view, and i realize the bottom is a bit cut off)
