I was asked why I wasn't "all over" this ship by Leonidae.  i'm being patient, as perfection takes time.

now ain't that a silly question for the Dade-nut.  please.  btw, it just hit me that this ship might have eventually evolved into the Garth.  the hull build is very similar.

This little ship is quite a spitfire! Agile, able to dish out death from four phaser turrets at same time. Last time I had this much fun in TOS-ship was in the TOS-ified Constellation of yours. :funny :yay: Any chances of you bringing the 4-nacelled TOS yamato-dreadnought up to date? :angel

straight from my notes

notes, Icarus-class by GMunoz

excellent phaser coverage.  a beam at every angle.   Stock (original BC) AI relies heavily on the foreward four, and must be within 15 km to angle in to bring other emitters into range.  for God's sake, increase the torpedo count or decrease the ready number to one.  ran out of torpedoes in a battle and a half! (love the new torps, btw).  need to test as an assist ship and with KM and goodies.

ship tends to attract Soverigns as assist ships.

main gripe is the low torpedo count and TOS warp limit of five will keep it around the Malestrom.  this will be a compotent assist ship.  should be used as a defender.  note: ship is comporable to the Icon class USS Garth.

Lionus: tried the Carrier, yet?  it's pretty good at keeping up with the jonses.

I agree, She is a fun little ship. Got the phaser arcs down cold. where they are placed, that's saying something

I am at present in KM with it. I think it would benefit with more torpedo count. The warp core needs a bit more tweaking too, get the battery power and the rest lined out a bit better for allocating resources.

She also looks great ingame. could benefit with some blinkers.

That's my report for now.

I think blinkers have been pretty much dropped from ship mods, now, due to the glitch in NanoFX that'll black you out if you warp.

i bid welcome to another Sphere-headed ship.  this gives me every one in existence, I believe.
