Much better, you need to be careful with that auto smooth feature, but you did a good job.

Thanks, as far as the auto smooth, i just set it at 0.1 and worked my way up until it smoothed the model the way I like it

Alright, baz is texturing and it looks like were dropping MVAM and texturing in a shuttle bay. I still need a hardpointer though, and I created an Identically named thread in the scripting section.

Ok took the night off my projects to check this model out.

I have made the model symetrical and applied some smoothing groups and fixed a couple of the mesh errors.

The model is also fully unwraped ready for texturing

Just out of interest, what errors were there? I checked the model before I sent it and I also had already smoothed it. I can't wait to see her textured

I couldn't resist showing you something similar I've been working on.  It's for an Elite Force modding project, Star Trek : Freelance, so it'll probably never see the light of BC.
NOTE - Just wanted an excuse to show this, and this seemed like an alright time to mention it.

The main problem was it was not symetrical (a mirror image).

There were some double faces as well. These things can happen when convert from one format to another to another.

Interesting take on the Galaxy/Neb nacelles.

I like how its turning out, however, she's going to be equipped with quantums so the torp tubes need to be blue, other then that, its turning out nice!

I tried to make them carry the heir of the Galaxy class with the roots of the NX-Class

Excellent stuff. Defiant meets NX-01. Can't wait to see the 2370's/2380's style re-developed bridge. Though. honestly,  I was expecting more of a Defiant style pigsnout deflector tucked right under the dual forward pulse phaser ports. But all in all, i love the work you've put into it.

That is the whole ship textured now (other than the bridge).

Will be adding some more detail but you get the idea now.

Just got a great Idea!! :yay:  make that dot thing just under the torpedo tubes a  pulse phaser? it is the 25th century and this ship needs to be powerful I can't wait to see her with more detail and some spec maps.
