New TOS Romulan Bird of Prey

Here's my latest project from BCS. It's the TOS Romulan Bird of Prey, aka Vas Hatham class. It's under 4K in polies. There will be two textural variants: An updated Classic TOS and a Continuity version (Green Hull and Bird of Prey pattern)

It's got 4 disruptor banks in the main hull, although I am considering releasing two additional disruptor variants: The disruptor banks in the wings, and a combination of the disruptors in the wings and in the main hull.

I'll be working on a new TOS Connie, but with 14 registries (list from ex astris scientia). But it'll have some elements of both the TOS and TMP Connies. But I will use Wiley's TOS Enterprise to balance this ship

@GMunoz: Thanks for the cookie! I hope to update the ship soon. I've got a job now, so my time is somewhat limited. But I will do my best to keep stuff up to date.

@Digital: There are some places where the textures are looking a little weird. But it's mostly a mapping issue. I can fix it easily. I'm glad you like the textures though

My first thought of this phrase was Phase II Enterprise, but I take it you have your own creative scheme in mind?

No. The TOS BOP bussards are blue, when lit.

There is no version with red bussards.

I have the two standalone BoP's that are already at filefront. one of them is the plain white, the other is "Unrestored film correct", even down to the appearance of the plasma weapon.   this has a lot more detail, especially in the aft section.

as for the Green one? treat it as though the roms lost enough ships helping with the dominion wars that they had to dig out a few of these to fill in the gaps (except they're armed to the teeth), and used their current ship schemes on it.

I'm assuming the Green BoP is the ENT-era version, and not a refitted TNG-era Romulan BoP tbh. Nice to see you back here at BCC, ChiefBrex. And well done on your BoP (both variants). I just added to your supply of cookies

Anyway, thanks for the positive comments on the BoP all! I'm going to work on it when I can.

@MarkyD: I haven't started working on the Bird of Prey Pattern on the green variant. I'm hoping to model it after the look on the 22nd-Century BoP, D'deridex and Norexan warbirds, so that it's consistent. If that doesn't work, I'll do a simple outline XD
