Just remember, the Odyssey herself doesn't have any auxiliary ships on its backside.

Oh....I was wrong Odyssey doesn't have a huge split on the backside of the ship.

umm, yer she dose,

The odyssey that showed up in the Klingon mission just had the shuttle bay, no aux craft.

Might have just been because they had not finished the model for it yet.

There's 2 versions, there's the C-store version, which has the Aquarius Destroyer Aux Craft, Hull repair Drones and Saucer Separation, Then there's the normal Enterprise-F version, which is the one you got as a reward for the second anniversary mission, which has the shuttle-bay where the Aquarius would otherwise be docked.

@FarShot: Its no problem, it means you can get the backlog youve built up sorted out, that and it gives me something to do for at least a little while :P

On the subject of the Odyssey and Aquarius...

When we first see the USS Odyssey, it's just the shuttlebay.  Likewise, the Enterprise F debuts without it.  However, following refit on First Contact Day, she sports the original Aquarius escort and uses it in Tau Dewa.

Hence I'll be releasing the Odyssey as stock, but the Enterprise F will have separation, the Aquarius, a higher repair rate, and whatever other bonuses come when you put all three consoles on the ship.

Forgive my ignorance on the matter, but wouldn't the lead ship be Odyssey, not Odysseus?

This is a dramatic improvement over the STO rendering. The design itself has some flow problems with me, but I can live with it.

Structural integrity.... yes this is a farce slipped into the writing to make the show work. More realistically, if a field is going to strengthen the ship, much like steel girders strengthen modern construction techniques, then basic structural principles still apply. With that, rigidity is not a virtue. The twin neck on the Odyssey is not an anachronism, it's just a different way of skinning the cat. I think it's one of the more interesting areas of the design, and is replicated quite effectively. I will be downloading when it makes it to the upload queue.

The Odyssey is NCC-97000.  The registry that Flarespire provided for me was Odysseus, 97001.

Carved out the fantail.  In the process of building the shuttlebay placeholder module.

I'm a fan of the little Aquarious Aux Craft. I've been saving up for one in the fleet store once my fleet gets high enough.

I mostly love the Aquarius for the Apollo 13 tribute. :salute2:

The Odyssey herself is a tribute to Apollo 13 :P

Odyssey was the Command module of Apollo 13, while Aquarius was the Lunar module.

Yes I know.  I guess I wasnt clear.  I love the add-on of the Aquarius.  The original Odyssey model didn't have it, so I thought it was really neat when they put it in.

I love it. I also have a thing for the Emissary Class too. If only we had more of these beautiful ships for BC.
