Is it going to have good phaser coverage? I always found that the Prometheus in KM1.0 had really poor arcs for it's phasers. This beauty of a ship should have no blind spots.   :D

Right i should be back in business with getting a few mods out of the way. Been extremely busy since xmas, so nothing got released. However Ive got some old mods which needs testing and releasing. They are, the Akira, Prometheus, McKinley Station, Utopia Planitia Station, The Mars system.

The Akira is up first and has some texture & mesh tweaks since you last seen her. The Prommy hasnt changed since I last posted, that is ready for testing. McKinley Station is all ready as the hp is simple, just like to Thank Mark again for giving us the mesh ;)

Enjoy...Again lol

Utopia Planitia... old pics just up to remind you all. This has some texture updates which i have to do.... e.g. get rid of the glows on some ships or nacelles :P But after that, this is ready for testing.

Oh and if anyone knows how to implement docking features, can they give me a pm as the Utopia Planitia Station needs doing. Thanks

As am I.  I've already tested out the Akira but if there's anything else I can test I'm happy to do it.

Thanks guys, 4 testers should do. I was going to ask you Nero anyway as you tested the Akira ages back & i did try to fix the hp issues you said, so hopefully this should be a bit better.

Ill package the Akira and Prometheus now and send you guys the link in abit.

Cheers

BETA test report:

all the beta tested files worked with no errors on run up of BC,
the akira is excelently built, if slightly fast a impulses 7-9.
the prometheus performs well in battle and works very well,
and McKinely station is superbly done.
only problem ive had is halfway through a battle with the prometheuse as my ship, the programclosed with no warning, error report, or anything, it just stopped running, like it was never running at all, python error? idk, but that may need looking into on these mods, anyways a very good and well executed set of mods none the less.

WELL DONE  :yay:

If that happened half way through and not right away than chances are you just experienced BC being itself...it's a little crash happy at times.  Has this happened more than once with any other ships?

JB, I'll have a beta report for you before the weekend is out - just got a new PC and getting it situated.  :)

only reason i said that is because it has never happened before these mods were installed.

Right from the beta reports, Ive tweaked the hp for Prometheus so thats ready for one more test and that can get released. The McKinley Station is all set to go so i can release that.

The Akira is nearly there so that shouldnt be long.

As for Utopia Planitia, I still need to sort out the docking, so if anyone knows, possibly baz or TU give me a pm cheers ;)

Enjoy the Prometheus pics
