Freedom Class-
The Freedom Class starship was built in two varieties, one with a Galaxy class nacelle, impulse drive and bridge, and one with a Constitution Class inspired saucer, a new nacelle, stronger phasers phasers, and a single high acceleration experimental torpedo tube.

The second version was designed by Commander Elizabeth Shelby to use new gravametric charge torpedoes against the Borg. Unfortunately none of these classified ships were in service before Wolf 359 so none were tested until the Dominion War, where they saw action alongside the newer Defiant Class ships.

Please tell me how you like the design, and if i get good reviews, i will continue working on this ship.

Well, personally I've never liked this type of design (single, underslung nacelle on a saucer), but your modeling seems to be efficient and clean, as well as detail-oriented.  It would be nice to see some closeups of different areas of the mesh, as well as other views in general.

BTW, which program are you using?  Max?

I don't agree with the whole consitution thing, why use old tech when you have defiant and sovy tech bouncing around. I say do one with a Sovy style saucer and necelle and equip it with 360 degree cover pulse phasers. The consitution one makes sense for TMP era when they retired the Solodin (sp?). I would love to see a remake of the Freedom class though, I always liked the odd ball stuff

The thing with the hull is it is inspired by the connie, and a connie looking hull. it will be smoother, and thicker. not to mention, it might morph into a new hull over time, anda few other variants once i get the parts sorted out

glad your using something other than the gal nacelle for it.  personally, I'd like to see one with the nacelle on top.

The second image would look awesome without that top nacelle. Reminds me of an x-era design (The name escapes me currently)

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.
