Looks nice Edd

Not bad at all! I like where you're going with this.

Thanks :D

That ship looks a slight bit like my Argonaut class. Looks nice though.

;) that because your live stream tutorial showed me alot of usefull modelling methods, wasn't meant to look like your ship, sorry if does. Although i have something else planned for the indent in the front, the deflector is something to fall back on.

With the down position of the pylons, I think the aft section would make a nice platform for a Nebula Style weapons pod. Or possibly a Miranda or Akira style weapons bar.

I am intending to go down that route, heres where i want the pod placement. I haven't had time to build a pod but i put 2 smalle nacelles in its place. Its looking like a melbourne variant of the nebula at the moment. Although it doe give me alot of room to make variants of the ship.

Just an example and a close up of the nacelles for people to see (there not not fully smoothed yet...like the rest of the ship), sorry for the lack of decent images, Gmax can't render and i have no AA

Yup exactly right, so i think i'm nearly done all components for the ship, little bits to add here and there. just under 10k.. just..by something like 100 triangles

the nacelles look silly. A weapons pod of some kind or a detachable single part hull vessel (meaning inboard engines) would look better imho.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

I think a pod would make it to similar to the Luna class.

Maybe expand the back of the bridge super stricture and have it taper down into the hull? Might look good, maybe if you streamed it into the pylons as well...

Ok so basicly i've set my self a new year's resolution to finish the texturing jobs i've started here (scraping the modeling for now as i'm not ready for that just yet). More importantly start on a retexture i promised to Starforce2 over a year ago... sorry dude.. i completly forgot  .

Anyway i hope to finish all the following:

- Terran JJ textures (WileyCoyote's JJprise and Kelvin)
- Vladko1's NX 91001
- SFP Interceptor Class

To start with i've been taking on the SFP Intecptor Class for a retexture for a few days now. Although i work relatively slow i'm making progress. I've attached 2 images. the first is of the original textures, the second is where i'm currently. I'm not happy with the escape pods i'll revisit those later, but i've got the basic hull layout and ive kept to the original colour scheme without it looking too weird. Anyway advice on how to improve the textures are very welcome. :)

Coming along quite nicely so far.

A unique aztek pattern would make things pop out.

thanks and i've added the Aztec, it was in the first one put it was very light. Its abit heavier now and i've added a fair bit of detail to it. Some of which i'll go over again..like the spine where i've made the borders to thick . Anyway thats it for tonight, Enjoy

Getting somewhere now, underside nearing completion, then the nacelles need abit of neatening up, and i really need to sort out the forward deflector . I can then add the federation red paint. I also call for possible improvements and critisism. Thank you, and enjoy!

Would have to agree with that, guessing you probably haven't got to the rest yet.  :)

The bottom aft section could use something there too, looks a bit bare. Perhaps some more of the lighter plate sections would even it out.

Very nice so far.

Textures look spot on and in NANO look fab mate. My only crit is the minor hull panelling that seems to be square and flat and does not flow? (aztec)

Either way she looks great, nice job
