Paint shop pro 8.10, I'm using it from the very beginning, also I have Photoshop CS 1 but usually I'm using PSP 8 because vector drawing works much faster ;)

oh and all you need for aztec drawing is Vector tool set to point-to-point drawing, that tool is present in every graphic editor ;)

I recommend you PSP 8 or 9, it's cheap and easy to use for starters.

if you don't have the money for the latest full version of photoshop CS, Photoshop Elements is a lot cheaper, while it doesn't have all the fancy features of the full version, it will get you where you need to go.

*starts taking notes* this is the one area of texturing I just can't pull off.  I can't get some of the "radial" elements i've had other people tell me about to work at all (i don't have a Polar Coordinates command)

i might just search for its portable version, cause i already have photoshop CS3 and CS5, both portable versions, obviously.

I like to use Paint.net for vector drawing and aztecing because it has a very complex line tool with a 4 point curve feature too. And it's free... only problem is there is no alpha channel making thing.....

free DXTBmp  has a great alpha channel making facility.  Prefer it to Photoshop when have to create alphas (as often do for BC)  and use all the the time  :D

Banned for mod theft I believe. Specifically, using someone else's work and passing it off as his own.

i personally contacted both creators of the models Starkiller was trying to say were his WIPs and then later said he got permission...
upon corresponding with them, Starkiller was permabanned...

anyway, i figured id leave this thread here for future reference, as it does contain good info for anyone else who might ask the same question later...

No, Jimmy, I appreciate you (MOD) status and the postiton you hold regardless (The guys like you no matter what - firm but fair)

You always float that line well hence yo got your position of mod, but this thread needs deleting!!!!

You want to do textures:- Use Photoshop... if thats not an option use Paint Shop Pro!!!

You want to draw aztecs then do them manually, its the best way.. for a saucer use polar coordiantes.

I understand the question, but lets leave that to respectable members of the comunity.. this idiot should be remebered for nothing !!!

KCS: mate aztecs should be drawn in slowly, and detailed.. thats the diff !!!

ok rant over just dont want this place spoiled     :)

quite the contrary - the name should be remembered and known as a thief and a liar for what he is - thats why i deleted all his other threads, leaving that one (and this one also, since it actually seemed helpful for others in the future) lol ;)

It just saddens me that some people have to resort to such methods these days... :(
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

it's life...  alot of people are disgusting and dishonest in life lol

also he underestimated the professionalism and wide-scoped knowledge of BCC modders to their art and what is out there as they appreciate other artists in the field...  and from what i understand, he isnt very pleasant in BCFiles comments either...
ah well, BC has a long list of those types in the last 8 years anyway, believe me lol
