Nifskope Question

High guys, im looking on nifskope if i can edit textures but when i get into the program the ONLY thing i can find that i think is textures just reads material #2 etc but i cant change it! ONLY rename it - please help if u can guys!

Hmmm  The NiMaterialProperty only changes the ambient color, diffuse, specular colors, etc...  To change textures, you must look for NiTextureProperty which has NiImage.  There you can edit the the external link to the TGA texture.  Other then that, nifksope doesn't edit the textures like photoshop, etc.  The newer versions of nifskope can edit the UV in case there's a simple mapping error.

Okay, to change the texture in nifskope is here...


Just double click on the name itself and rename it to what you want.

I know phoe- was asking, but that also answers a question, for me. However if mutiple textures [same name] you can not just simple rename the texture, cause the other instamces change as well
