My love
Is wand'ring in star-flight
I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me."

Escape pods? (Or would that be too much?)

I think not, the escape pods were flush with the hull.

Not on the 4' which i think this is based off of again.

I think this one is probably closer to the 6 ft.

How about we call it a mix of both ;)  I do see some similarities to the 6' but the nacelle pylons are thick like on the 4' model.

I don't think the pylons on the 6ft are as thin as everyone thinks they are, but I could be wrong.

They are actually, I would post pictures for comparison, but I'm too lazy to get them off of Memory Alpha and post them on Photobucket LOL.  But this is your model DJ, and it looks awesome!!!  Keep it up!

Ok, so I had to rebuild the entire saucer section because of a stupid mistake I made early on.  However, the new one is more poly efficient and accurate.  I also did a bunch of work to the shuttle bay there.  I'll have to rebuilt the cobra head on the stardrive though.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves.  Thanks for the suggestions, I implemented a few of them.  Feel free to keep them coming.

The one thing I've never seen modeled on a Galaxy class is the grills for the warp and impulse engines.  Just sayin...  ;) :D

Hey DJ, are you developing this simultaneously for Excalibur as well?

Question DJ:  You're first Galaxy was based off the 4-foot model, will this new one be following the same formula, or are you taking a stab at the 6-footer?  Looks great either way!  :)

actually he just answered that further up the page. :P

One problem I had with your old Galaxy, is that the underside of the saucer looks strangely flat.

It was flat.  That always bugged me.  This version is much smoother.
