Hey mark..quick question.  With the current beta of bp-core gold that's out, are cloaking maps usable?  if so, what should they be called in the autoload file to make them work?

considering that we're doing the pegasus, i think cloaking maps might come in handy.

Here's the whole bridge minus scripts. I can't open paint.net for some reason, so I couldn't extract only the two files.

Make sure to get both the MSD and the Dedication Plaque.

beautiful...i'll be sure to add them in.  still at a dead stop with the texture swapping.  i can still get mark's original programmed textures to swap though..so we will have blue alert lights.  as far as cloaking maps..i'm not sure if it's doable until KM1.0 comes out.  that will have an updated bp core i believe.  how's everyone feel about waiting for KM1.0 to release this?  I'd probably like to release a couple other beauties i'm working on once it comes out too...cause then everyone will have MVAM (and hopefully cloaking) maps capabilities.  We'll see..it's all gonna depend.

Go ahead and release. Just make sure I get plenty of credit so I can "properly" criticize other mods without the "Oh yeah, where's your mod?"

Excellent work, sir. Let's hope on getting featured Bridge status!

Oh, and make sure to include the scripts so it can stand alone.

I am thinking about making a Lakota style bridge, but it will be a month or two. My eval of Paint.Net went out and I am just waiting to update it.

hmmm...  im afraid thats has already been done (and will be in KM1)...  well, actually, its a Late-TNG/DS9 version of the Excelsior Bridge, but its pretty much a Lakota Bridge...

Then I might take a crack at some better Akira/Steamrunner bridges. The ones out there are...meh.

right on - it is always good to have new bridge retextures, and to be able to increase the selection in the Bridges Menu  :)  Bridge retexturing is an area of BC modding that isnt touched anymore at all these days, and it is always good to see more and newer ones indeed :)
if i had any skill at making new MSD's and such, id have many different bridge retextures in my install, one for each of my Fed Ships...

Once KM 1.0 comes out i'll be releasing a lot of things i've been working on.  The only reason i'm waiting is because they're dependent on several things which havent been released yet except for betas (intrepid bridge v3, bp core gold v2...things like that).

I've got a retexture of the Late TNG Galaxy bridge which looks similar to the Pegasus which we're making right now.  I've also got a retexture of the new coming intrepid bridge.  All of them have major texture swapping and MVAM mapping.  Barihawk you're welcome to join up if you wanna help me wit the scripting.

One thing i can promise you guys...the retextures are going to keep on coming.

Barihawk, I'll be sending you the textures for pegasus sometime in the next couple days.  One thing i'm not so great at is the scripting of adding a new bridge.  The textures are pretty much done as you can see..but i'm gonna need you to make it a standalone bridge.  That cool wit you man?

Here you go, BsilveR:

Download this file:

http://files.filefront.com//;7422693;/

Now, extract all the inside to a folder of your choosing (Let's call it TNGPegasusBridge). Then, overwrite the Pegasus bridge set inside this folder with the bridge set you have retextured. Now, zip it up, and viola! You have a complete bridge, complete with scripts.

Note: The bridge in the link above is a craptastic early version.

  • Doctor who? ;)
Nice job. Cant wai to play on this bridge.

If your still interested in retexturing the Excelsior bridge, you could always make it look like the Excelsior bridge from ST3: Search For Spock. I knows theres only very few angles of it but theres nothing wrong with a little improvisation  :)

Just a thought.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.
