Tryed to replace a background but just got a white square.

Take treknebula3 and open in photoshop, use the filling in tool and make it entirely black.

The go to 'File' scroll down to 'place' and click it, it should then bring up a window in which you select your image. Click ok and it should appear in the centre of the black square. Now you can move it etc, alter it to your liking. Then just save it

Another thing you can do is whatever image you plan on using as a background, be sure to make it in a 1:1 aspect ratio.

e.g. 1024x1024 or 2048x2048.

BC doesn't like when images for backgrounds aren't in 1:1 ratios... it gives those white squares 007Bashir was experiencing.

If you use the technique I do, and I presume Killallewoks does, you don't need to worry if the image you want ingame is in 1:1 aspect as the treknebula3 file you are placing the image onto already is

The actual file does still need to 1:1 ratio.

yeah it will be, but the image I layer onto the background is never in 1:1. You said like a letterbox. But we risk confusing everyone

Nice shots guys. Sorry I haven't been posting many, but that's how it is. But I do have one. It's not a pretty screenshot, but more of a fun, glitchy screenshot. This is what happens when you mess with the cloaking device while the wings are moving on the new BOPs.
