Because the quality isn't perfect, it's hard to tell whether it is called the Raman. :D

The Arcadia will be by shortly. Resistance is futile.

Didn't come out exactly how I wanted it and I couldn't fix it as the beauty of the screenshot was so much that it crashed BC to take a screenshot of it :P.

Very nice, but I have a suggestion for the second one:

Duplicate the layer, blur the top one and set it to screen or something, so that it looks more like a motion blur than just a blur, like this:

I actually used a couple of layers with different setting, but you get the idea (Hopefully). :P

Cool, looks like it came from a comic book.

for the zoom effects:

if your using GIMP or Shop, Use the Radial Blur Effect and add the standard blur effect. then select the top layer and either make it more opaque or use a screen/lighten style transparency.

Vortex, for 3d images, i discorage the motion blur, it makes the ship look disproportionate and gives totally he wrong effect

Yeah, missed that; sorry.  I tried getting a shot of the ship in a nebula cloud in-game, but the only one I could find within easy distance of the starting system of QB was green instead of the red from the story, so I had to do it in Photoshop.
