I took Glenn's advice and shortened the nacelle pylons about 15%.  Here are some comparison shots.  Which do you guys prefer?

I would say the shortened naceles look better proportioned to the rest of the ship and look more streamlined

The longer nacelle pylons look better, the short ones bring the warp nacelles to close to the body and it looks wrong.

I like the longer one. The wider wedge shape gives the impression that the vessel is fast and maneuverable, able to make tight "kick" turns within it's own length. And the overall look of the vessel sort of reminds me of the Akira, ( one of my favorite Canon designs, ) which also had a wedge-type profile from the front, and side aspect angles.

hm, difficult, I think I like the longer ones more, but I like the short ones in some way too.

it's not a big difference, really.  I bet if I hadn't posted about the shortened pylons, no one would have noticed.  lol.

I perfer the longer pylons, the shorter ones don't seem to fit the look of the ship IMO.
