kinda sad, poor Eli, at least he ended up as someone more than he would become on earth (I guess that was the point of those episodes on earth)

Indeed. We can only hope that he found some way to fix the stasis pod before his 2 week rations ran out. Although, given the fact that there will not be a season 3, I'm guessing that Eli died off-screen, meaning that the rest of Destinys' crew will never awaken. :(
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

I thought they had it set to automatically open when they reach the other Galaxy.

It's been months since I watched the series finale so there is a strong possibility that I got it wrong, and that you are correct.

I know I am right about Eli having only 2 weeks worth of power and rations available to him, by which time, he should have either fixed the pod, or make the "sacrifice". If he doesn't, his continued use of life support means that Destiny would fall short of the next galaxy, meaning that there would not be enough power to keep the stasis pods going, meaning people would start dying inside them.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

I assume that you've watched the whole of SG-1 aswell? If not, you should. ;)
But if you have, and want to try something different, I suggest that you watch either:

"A Town Called Eureka"
"Warehouse 13"
or
"Chuck"

from the very beginning. They are all awesome shows! :D

Just want to point out, "A Town Called Eureka" is generally referred to (and even advertised as), simply 'Eureka'.

The rest, I agree 100% :P

its an Interactive adventure game, so its probably just a point and click game, nothing exciting.

Cellular device apps make 3-5 times more money than $60 games on consoles.

I don't care. Not everyone has the urgent need to be hip with smartphone with touchscreen, wifi and whatchamacallits. I remember times when phones were for calling and text messaging for petes sake.. :bitch:

Here are several images showing the canon specifications of several ships from Stargate. The images come from the Stargate Now facebook page and are made using the actual CGI models from the series.

Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

The BC-304 is one of my favorite "Human made" Starship designs, and looks fairly plausable even with our current tech level (minus FTL tech).

The "canon" size of 200 meters is laughable, when shown side-by-side with the canon size of the F-302 fighters. I tend to go with the "model" size of 650 meters which feels more accurate. Also means the ship is right in-between the lengths of the Galaxy Class (643 meters) and Sovereign Class (680 meters)
