The first season of "SGU: Stargate Universe" will be accompanied by 30 webisodes that will be made available on a weekly basis either on Syfy.com or Stargate.MGM.com.

Interesting
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

How is something on the internet not available worldwide?

Easy. Try watching something on BBC's iPlayer.

Fortunately, YouTube will come to the rescue :P

I'm still waiting on more SG1 moves as well as the SGA movie. Curse them, for cancelling SGA only to bring in SG:90210 (aka SGU).

To be honest, Atlantis was beginning to... Dry out so to speak. It was becoming more Star Trek: Atlantis seeming as they spent most of their time on ships... I mean the promo shots were even done on the ship sets for season 4! Season 5 was beginning to get it back on track though... The city has so much potential with so much unexplored, it just seemed the writers would rather blow up the wraith sometimes.

Meh, the characters actually seemed to lose depth as the show went on.  Chock that up to poor writing, along with worse and worse plots.  The universe of Stargate was starting to stagnate with that show, despite having a lot of potential (again, bad writing).  Having a revolving door of leaders didn't help things, either.

Hopefully, SGU will inject some new life into the franchise.

I just hate their uniforms! :x

What i think started to kill SG-1 in the last 3 seasons. Was the humor. after RDA started doing less shows, and when he left, they tried to hard to keep his humor in the show. I noticed it. They over did it.

I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

First SGU episode is due to air on October 2nd. It will have no obvious tie-in to SGA, however both Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks will be guest-starring in the pilot episode. Much like they both did during SGA's pilot.

Micheal Shanks will also show up again later this season, and so will RDA and Gary Jones.

Carter is also in the Pilot.

Carter is also in the Pilot.

Not sure about that one. Says nothing about her being in the SGU pilot either on IMDB.com or Gateworld.

Well the preview at Comic-Con showed Carter in command of the George Hammond. Which I believe is the ship Eli is picked up in.

Also, since when have the ships in Stargate been referred to with "USS"

On the uniforms of the Odyssey and Apollo crew, it says "USS".
