Do they take into account how many people record it for later viewing now? I have done that with both Caprica and SGU as I sometimes work late or nights so can't always watch it when broadcast

2 episodes in a row now, have had the potential to be considered "great" episodes. Both of which ended with a P.O.S and near meaningless ending. I really enjoyed this latest episode, and I was happy that the "truth was finally revealed". And then the episode ends on a really stupid place, especially if it results in the loss of 1 or more of the better characters on the show.

If the continuation shown next week results in what I fear it will be (writers are really stupid), then that episode will also be the last SGU for me. I've really tried to give the show a chance, and at times the episodes have been REALLY good. Other times, within the SAME episodes, it's really lousy.

looks only like the lady is going to die from the previews for the next ep + maybe 1 or two of the new members.

Well, you have a couple of characters that have been on the show for multiple episodes, let the audience start to care about these characters, only to have the writers kill them off in a meaningless manner? "I don't like that your talking to them. I'll kill you now". The final scene of the episode was so stupid, given that the "guy" was guarded at all times prior to this scene. Where were the guards now? Where was Greer, who has been keeping close tabs on this guy the whole time?

If these characters truely are killed off by next episode, it will be the end of SGU for me, and i'm sure many others. The ratings have been slipping for a few weeks now. Killing off characters that people care about will only make matters worse.

I don't think their going to kill her off, they never said she was dead or showed her dead, they showed them finding her body thats about it.

Why are you assuming shes dead? For all we know, he's just going to talk to her. It's a little thing called........suspense.
I thought it was pretty clear that he had slipped away from (or perhaps even knocked out) his guard, and Greer can't be there all the time.

Given that the actress playing her (body self), is not listed as appearing in any future episodes past the current one (The Greater Good), I think it's fairly self-evident that she won't be around (i.e dead). Which if true, means I will no longer follow this show which has been sporadically good, sporadically bad at best.

The Wikipedia description for the next episode reveales her fate.

But there is no source listed sooo... Don't take it as truth.

Not to mention in the preview Eli walks up to Young and simply says "Give me your gun." IMO that alone would've been enough for me to figure it out.

Same preview clearly said that "He killed Ginn." too. Pisses me off either way.

Well tonight is the mid season finale sigh..... anyways I really liked last weeks episode, even though I thought the only reason they did it is so they could get another shuttle for destiny. I didn't like the cloe sub plot though, they could have really rewritten that

Agreed. Guess we'll see how the ratings fare in the US after a 3-6 month hiatus. Really pisses me off when they have super long breaks between "mid seasons". Surely, it would be enough to break for Christmas, and return sometime in January? (like most shows do)
