A Bridge request
« on: November 25, 2007, 11:08:58 PM »
Hello all.  I would like to request a Battlestar Pegasus bridge as flying around in my model of the Pegasus is a little weird having a star trek bridge. If you cant do it then thats ok.

Anyway thanks in advance,

When you follow Darkthunder's link, notice entry marked as 4) ;)
That being said..
It's not a question of can/can't, it's a matter of 'when'. You'll find that creating bridges is a rather complex project, and few people can do the whole process. And trust me, those people have their hands full.
The idea of adding bridges (CICs) from BSG is not a bad one, though, in fact, it's been active in the back of my brain for a while, and I suspect a lot of modders at least thought about this at one point or another.
Unfortunately, as I said, people who can do it are all working on some great stuff right now which will take up all of their time.
Somewhere down the line, someone will probably make a BSG set (or sets) for BC, I just don't think it will be very soon.
If you don't want to wait, my advice to you is this; learn how to model in max, get some references and start building the set yourself. This will take care of step 1 - actually making the model. You can worry about stage 2 - UVW and textures - when you get to it. Anyway, if you decide to give it a go, post wips here, people here will gladly help you out with advice along the way.
