Absolutely stunning!!

DJ, you've really got to keep those bumped textures in the final release. They look Phenomenal!!

It's cookie time!!

I wish I could, unfortunately, BC doesn't support normals.  I'm going to try work something out, though.

Please save the bumpmaps so I can use them for a NanoFX GE conversion :D

Even if GE is a mere engine atm, i'm sure it can do your ship justice the way it's meant to be seen ;)

I use both CorelDraw and Photoshop to make LCARS and starship textures. It has a nifty facility which allows you to actually give a bump-map effect to the textures. If you would like I could bump map your Galaxy textures for you DJ!?  :D

I'll remember that.  When the textures are finished, if I can't get a satisfying result, then I'll get a hold of you.

He has.  Albeit, it's a rather *exclusive* release.   8)

Eh?  The cookies keep him docile... and thus, compliant.

Uhm, Jimmy aren't those supposed to go in Brownies LOL

DJ, back on topic, I love the bumps...They fit this version of the galaxy better than the SNS LOL.

Good work so far DJ!

I can't wait to see it in my engine, the Galaxy class is my favorite ship and currently the SNS Galaxy is my favorite model!

I was wondering if you were done work on the Secondary Hull... I see a few problems... it seems to be too narrow in Width, so the Deflector Dish looks a bit too tall in height.  Also the Main Impulse Engine looks way to short in Height as well, looking very thin.

Anyways, here is a pic of the SNS Galaxy in NanoFX GE, I'd really like to see your model surpass the SNS!

I think that's because he's basing it off the 4' model and not the 6' which the SNS is based off of.  the 4 footer looks almost exactly like DJ's model.

Oh and good to see you posting here Nano!

remember that perspective can fool you.
if he's basing the ship off cannon blueprints, that I'd say its ok.

also, 'bout time you come back since BCU lol!
