i was planning to release a texture upgrade pack with them,
But going by the studio model and various CGI Shots it appears that the majority of images show very few windows if not any..

The voodieh appears to have a few, but the neghvar its hard to determine if it has any at all on the model

In the "Neghvar" pics you linked, I can see plenty of windows. They're the small black rectangles located alot (easily seen in the sideview) and in front view I see both black rectangles and white ones which I assume are windows as well.

Also... Pink bussards? or whatever the Klingon equivalent is called :P

Review:

Personally, I dont see windows in those pics either but adding windows to it would make it easier to see in a dark star system in-game where the only lighting is the engines.
The disruptors seem slightly off. As in, they weren't aligned aswell as they could be. They fire from about a centimeter inside the wings near the disruptor ports. I dont have a problem with the engine bussard pink-ness but more darkened bussards would be cool. The speculars that can be seen in well lit star systems look great.

The fact that I can take out 2 dominion warships with my shields down makes this pack extra awesome though. Klingons would never use shields. Qa'pla!

Im taking mental notes on all the suggestions guys, and ill make sure they are implemented in V2,
So keep them coming, constructive criticism helps me make improvements on the pack :)

omg, just got it and my video card is crying coolant lol!

if this doesn't replace the KM neghvar, call it as a lower quality model from the ship file, so when you're away of it, it doesn't keep the CGI model and it will render faster.

all 3 variants dont replace any previous neghvar, did'nt want it to do that just incase someone cant run the high poly's of this one, so then they would have a neghvar they could still play with

do you know if whatever material setting (like a very high specular value) you use in Max will show up in BC?
I ask because instead of specular map, you can use a specular highlight on the model itself.

the way i normally do it is assign the defuse texture and then goto the maps drop down menu and select specular and then add the appropriate specular map i want used :)

1) As soon as I DL'ed the model (I wanted the Voodieh Variant), I changed the red for both impulse & nacelle parts..
2) I havn't tested yet, I'll try your HP then if its good or bad, (if good, I'll keep it), if bad I'll use my Armada 1 hardpoint instead...
3) Uber-poly monster, but some parts are floating by .3 Ms, for example, near the end of the head....

Nice ship but I think I'm not a big fan of the hardpoint though not that that's hard to fix, over all though good job and I'm looking forward to the Vorcha.

One thing though, unless you are willing to make a small change to the models, I would get rid of the aft phaser. Theres no physical model on the back so it looks weird when a phaser fires out of the aft section.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Also, half of the physical model vanishes when cloaked.

Model errors I think.

The only things I like on your hardpoint was the engine speed/turning radius and locations of some systems. If you want, I can hardpoint the starships for you, BUT: I do not know the balancing of KM 0.9/1.0, since it seems to destroy my BC install by slowing it down dramatically..
