a couple of the images are cropped so the scaling is off a bit

Hrmm is that ingame screenshot cropped? It seems short and stretched downwards suddenly. I love how it looks either way. Should we only expect the TMP version or will you feature a minor change adding the few details which certify it as TNG?

well it could pass for TNG, the USS Hood in TNG was in this configuration.

i think its a nice model, well executed, but not very accurate. it still gives a good overall effect however.

if i were modeling it (both physical and virtual) id fix the saucer gridlines. nobody would accept the enterprise having wrong grids, why should this be different. the thruster quad markings are too big. the hull is kinda stretched down but looking at your previous shots i cant decide where that error comes from.

im not going to nitpick it to death, its a great effort that you just dont see many doing these days. love it.

Any chance we might see some of your Legacy work in BC? Among the only things I liked from the UU mod is the models you made for it.

Im not really big on accurate but i think the model looks great.

and since it isnt accurate, you can either make it that... or make it ur own, id prefer u make it ur own, as we have enough accurates  8)

keep up the good work    :D

The model is nice.  It really deserves detailed textures.

I completely agree, the model is nice but the textures seem so plain and barren.

I think Dr. McCoy would work on it, or so Lint said earlier. But Lint, wouldn't that make the excelsior v 0.9, until the final textures are slapped on?

Just FYI, Adonis is right, a model doesn't have to be super high poly to look fantastic.  A lot of the details are in the textures, if you think about it.  That being said lint, I would take Adonis up on his offer of help, he's been at this quite a while.

the ingame shots do make it look closer to the way it looked in the "stealing the enterprise" scene.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D

i dont dis-agreeing with Adonis about the fact it does'nt need to be super high poly to look good.. funny

EDIT: and just FYI, i have been using max close to 9 years now, a few people would consider that a long time...

Then stick to CGI mate. Ingame modelling looks like isn't for you.
