Do you mean the LCARS on the stations on the side of the bridge facing the front? If so i havn't finished all the LCARS off yet. A lot of the small displays still have the origional LCARS on them but I will get round to changing them

I meant all ones on the back. All the panels visible in those screens have the tan. Goldenrod would make it sharper.

Two extremly stupid questions. Firstly what is tan? (i'm guessing it's the light brown colours on the LCARS) Secondly what is Goldenrod?

well goldenrod is ... golden :D and tan is light brown, I think it would look great with bright white also but that depends on what color you'll like better

The tan is the base color for your LCARS (the most commonly used) which was the color used for early TNG (Seasons 1-3 and pre-TNG vessels like the Akira)

Goldenrod is the baseline color for the LCARS of my Pegasus bridge in my signature, and was used a lot in DS9 and VOY.

Your right. The golden rod would look better on this bridge, i'll change it to that as soon as possible. I was talking with bsilver and we was thinking that an Excalibur bridge might be a better idea. Whatever way I can still finish off the rest off the bridge before I replace the diagrams of with either century or galaxy. If anyone has any other suggestions please post here or pm me

Registries on all visible Akira's predate the U.S.S. Galaxy. Widely accepted that production on the Akira began in the 2350's. And from the design, it fits the period (especially the nacelles, which look like a cross between Ambassador and Galaxy).

And after watching Generations, I feel the LCARS on the original bridge are a little off. I might just do a little recolor (needs more goldenrod! :D).

EDIT: Just a question. Are the LCARS for the Galaxy Refit used from the Galaxy stock bridge? I can't find any LCARS panels in the Galaxyrefit folder.

Yeah I also don't think the Akira had first appearance somewhere in pre-TNG/TNG but in FC and DS9 so late TNG (but I can be wrong of course) which means tan is rather common base LCARS color even in DS9 (defiant), however tan dissappears almost totally in endgame

I also think that the Prometheus bridge would be a good idea, if you make the bridge a different color than white.

I don't know if this is even really relevant.  But this is the bridge i see being the bridge of a Century Class starship.  It was designed by a friend of mine named Mark Nguyen.  it fits well with my idea that the bridge dome area of the ship is much bigger than just the bridge itself.  There is a whole corridor that runs around it to the various surrounding rooms.

Quote
The Explorer2 bridge was partially inspired by Shik's Gaia design, with the forward consoles flanking the viewer and multiple levels, and partially by a system of waterfalls in a Japanese garden I was once at. I envision this one as a fleet combat kind of bridge, with a necessary Strategic Ops station for fleet coordination and communication. If there's one thing I find odd about this design, is that it's got waaaay too many angles. If it ever gets built, I'll have to remember to bring sandpaper...

My intention is to create this someday.

Where in the heck do you find time for this?  I feel sorry for your wife.

I guess if DJ's going to take a stab at his own Century bridge, lukerobin could always change this beauty into a post-Nemesis Galaxy-class bridge.  Perhaps, oh I don't know, the Venture?

Hey Guys.  I have a small update.  I've teamed up with lukerobin, and we've started a new production team, called Chronowerx Productions.  Since all of our bridge projects thus far have been from future timelines, we thought this was appropriate.

So we've decided to take this project down a slightly different route.  We've switched to using the Excalibur Bridge as a base for this retexture, and we're going with the color scheme from Voyager: Endgame's future timeline for the lcars.  The retexture is still in it's infancy, but i'm attaching what we have so far.

Opinions?

Damn. The Generations retexture was looking so promising aswell.

Ahwell, 'tis a good start but something about it strikes me as odd. I'm not sure what though.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

I don't think it's fair to say that we've changed to the bridge as this is all bsilver's own work. He should take the credit for it. I'm thinking of using my bridge for an akira or updated galaxy class. I'll try making a website soon so people can see what we're doing all in one place. If anyone wants to join then just PM me. We'll also be doing ship retextures/designs and hard points so anyone with any experience will be useful.

As I was typing the last post Billz posted that the Generations bridge was looking promising so i've started a poll so you can decide what will look best. I can still continue work on my bridge and add the ship diagrams in last to suit what class it's for.
