I think that would be rather intensive for BC... wouldn't it? I could be wrong...
probably depend on the size of the said animated textures.

2048 x 1024 then replicated like 18 times? yeah I would think laggage :P I have got a 20% visible layer of water just above the planet surface which rotates faster than the actual planet, so it does sort of move :P

This may be asking a lot, but any chance for an animated render so we can peak? :] Is cool if not. ^_^

Do you really need 18 textures to create realistic water animation

Ha!  I figured you placed a nebula inside the planet to get that effect.

Awesome.

Yeah, wasn't really thinking about the animation's memory requirements when I said that.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Just side tracking from the star systems, we've just got some a ship to show ;) The mesh was originally done by lint about a year ago and was finally finished. :D

It was a bit of a pain as the references were very lacking, although I think the final product came out well.

Edit: The only thing I was thinking was to dirty up the ship a bit... What do you guys think?

Enjoy

Totally. The Maquis had a ragtag fleet, this ship shouldn't be so clean and pretty

I think a dirty variant would be good, for those rag tag shots, but it looks beautiful as it is... So variant.

Perfect, looks like it's been through it's fair share of skirmishes, but not hammered to pieces. =D

This was finished yesterday, the Night Ship which was made by WileyCoyote :D Thanks again ;)

Mapped by limey & textured by me, here's the result :D

These will be placed in the DQP Void System which can be seen in the last image & will be armed with EMP draining weapons ;)

nice cube, are those 'shadows' on the armor textured or unintended smoothing errors.
