Perhaps patience was the wrong word, but this project is going on from 2008, so a few extra days won't be a problem. Better test it thorough and have a good result than a mod where everyone was waiting for and realize that things are missing...

I wholeheartedly agree with you Sov!
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

This.

Something which has taken years to do can be easily ruined by a minor fault, bugs need to be quashed no matter how small.  :dontcare:

I not only also wholeheartedly agree with making sure it is ALL right but let me tell you a short story...

I'll never forget the anguish I felt years ago when I first installed the SNS Galaxy pack. Don't get me wrong, those Galaxies to this day are awesome but there were so many things wrong with the installation files that it ruined my BC install.

I was still a "rookie" then and failed to make a backup of my BC before I installed the SNS pack... after all, I had installed so many mods prior to that and never had any problems... why should this one be any different. I was lulled into a false sense of security. I had to, one by one, rebuild every single mod I had installed to get it back to where it was. And I didn't have any idea of how to "tweak" the mods at all at that time. I learned the "hard" way.

Bottom line, it's much, MUCH, better to work out the kinks FIRST. Then you'll be a lot happier. The saddest thing about the SNS pack was that it was supposedly beta tested before it was released, well from my perspective it - let's just say - wasn't tested at all. I realize that for some people it may have worked but I know for a fact that TONS of us have horror stories about the problems they faced getting that pack to work properly in-game.

There were problems with the SNS pack? Either I was lucky and never noticed or I've simply forgotten :/

I was looking forward to this before, but now more so.  Been running through Star Trek on Netflix, currently almost all the way through Voyager, so this stuff's going to feel very familiar.

Nuts, I thought you would get it out today, as an Easter gift. Oh well, I am still happy its around the corner (this time for real)

Btw, do you think you will upload it to a file sharing website too, so that we don't have to deal with the weeks and weeks of waiting for BCfiles to authorize it? This way, I was thinking, we could get it just a "bit" earlier. :D

'Tis up to you though. :P

The reason that its not out, is because there were some things that needed to be adjusted. Strengths, speeds from ships, and even stations. You don't want a station that does loops around your ship  :D

Sounds like something I'd like but then again I have a diabolical passion for god-shuttles  :P

Ah, the assery. I'd like to see the look on jimbo's face when he (eventually) sees the pure childishness within this thread. Let it be, boys. (Or don't, and duke it out. See if I care. ;) )

insult another person again like that and youll be permanently banned from here...
that is completely unacceptable and a violation of forums rules if nothing else...  andyp was not being rude to you, in fact he is exactly correct in what he said...
this will be your last warning on this matter...

and on that note, this convo will please be dropped...  it is highly disrespectful to JLS and their thread...

for that matter, no one after me should post unless it is someone from the JLS team or their beta testers...
anyone chooses to ignore this will be banned for 30 days no matter who, no matter what, no matter why...  end this now please...
thx

Last time i finished testing the pack and filled in all the text (plug-ins) for the planets and ships. There were a few errors in the plugs (i can't find it) so i guess JB is now looking for a few errors.

I tested and gave feedback and info how to improve the ships! Shouldn't take any more longer than a week!

euh i'm a betatester, so don't ban me..
