*posts an IOU 1 cookie to aeries sign on limey's fridge* xD

Still though, dude, the mesh looks beautiful. I'm totally honored to have played a part in her conception. :D I see we weren't kidding when the details were discussed. :D This makes me happy. Additionally, maybe add in the details for the primary deflector? all those tiny little groovy things... xD That'd be fun to see.

Jb brought this up the other day, but I still can't find any pic that shows grooves on the deflector. Hell, I can't find any pics that properly show the deflector!

Who did you think was doing it then?

I thought lint was. :P

You can only really see the grooves on the deflector in the ventral views...I dunno why the fore view makes the deflector area so dark.  :?

great work on that model, limey.  It was about time this ship was redone with a new mesh.  Though, if I'm being honest, 20k seems a bit heavy for such a small ship.  Is it possible to reduce it a bit?

Don't think so. Not without compromising quality, which I want to avoid at all costs.

That's cool.  Would you mind posting a wire frame render?  I'd love to have a look at your mesh. :)

No problem, i've been away myself so thats why there havent been any updates recently on my half.

On another note, the nova is about 80% textured, just afew things still need mapping then i'll post some in-game pics.

Instead of the nova ingame pics, i was able to start & finish off the textures for the Raven today whilst im waiting for the little bits of mapping on the Nova still to be done.

So here it is, Ive made the specs pretty intense so that it shows the azteching, but i may reduce it, depends wot you all think :D

I cn talks lyk dat 2? Jb, comparing that to your last post... I'm confused. xD

Anyways, beautiful work with the Raven. I like it regardless of the specs.
