I wonder what her specs would really be, though? She took on two klingon ships and being of a later century... I wonder if she'd have ablative armor, shields stronger than Voyager's? I know she's pretty darn fast and maneuverable... but weapons, too? What kind of torpedos and phasers would she have? Previous Rhode Islands we've seen have all been closely balanced to the Nova, but being of Admiral Janeway's timeline, I somehow doubt that the Rhode Island would share its' older counterparts'... weak... nature. Also, Captain Kim had his ship out on a deep space assignment for FOUR years, and as such... she's got to have some impressive systems to handle that for such a small ship...

I'm just thinkin' aloud.

There is... somewhere. I'm just bringing this up as a reminder to the guys creating this ship.

Allot of work is going into this, and it looks real good.. the lines on the rhode island are somewhat lazy and im not a fan of your hull texture (base) but overall it is the finest version i have seen, the model looks super clean and you have done a really great job. This is a thread i will watch closely.

I tend to p*ss people off, and normally shake things up a little. So dont take it to heart when i create waves.

is this RI model roughly the same scale as the one in KM1.0? as i would eventually like to replace the one in my install with this model, like i did with DJs galaxy

Just had an idea... although the KM was great I found it to be a bit bloated and adding the whole dqp to that will (IMO) make it unstable. Will the dqp be able to run on a clean install? If so, then why not add some extra features from KM to it like thrusters, transporters, ftech, etc but not any extra ships, bridges or systems (except of course those found in the DQP).

that would be very hard work since you have to get the permission to use them outside of KM...

Hmm, is there any tools to wipe all the ships from KM?

The hull lines have already been taken care of which ill get some new screenies once limey has fixed the errors on the nacelles. As for the hull base texture, you may not like them, but look at the reference shots. Thats how they done it. ;)

There is no reason KM 1 & the DQP will be unstable, especially if its thoroughly tested. I'm running a km1 based install & have had no stabilisation problems at all. The star systems will not cause problems if its properly coded. The ships definitely will have no problems & will not overwrite any ships. Stage 3 which is still to be announced is going to the most on;y part of the pack which may cause stability issues. However that will be delt with when we come to it.

Anyways here's some pics of the Equinox. Ive fixed some of the details on the textures, the front sensory palettes being the most obvious, which i am now happy with to say its finished :D

I would actually prefer that your new ships overwrite the older KM ships.

OH OH IMPORTANT QUESTION, I know you guys are doing the End Game Voyager, and I know it's going to be a great model, but can you guys do the Shuttle that has the Armor too and have it activate with MVAM? I am so surprised no one has made it yet. I wanna take on a Neg'var with it. Lol.
