I just realized...the saucer section supposedly has low warp capability.  That's why the ship was able to separate at warp speed.

No, It does'nt.
Seperating at warp speed would result in the saucer section dropping to impulse,
as mentioned in the TNG episode "Brothers"

The saucer section does not even have a warp core, let alone a warp engine.

I left the warp system in because I thought ships wouldn't work without the core systems.

I don't know if anyone has found this but, there are some little "easter eggs" or small secret stuff that DJ added to the ship.:D  After looking at the textures, on the port side of the bridge you can see Picard looking out the window from his Ready Room (picture probably from Best of Both Worlds), also there is a Darwin fish located at the very back of the top engineering stripe, just above the aft torpedo launcher.  Similar to the "bumper sticker" on the Enterprise-F.  Very cool and nice work with this ship.

yep.  both are there.  I always add a bumper sticker to all my ships, and the picard thing was just a nice touch, i thought.

Indeed, too bad BC's camera won't let you get close enough, that would make a cool video, just start at Picard and have the ship slowly moving forward.

Oy, I think I was drunk that night.........

I do like it, it's great, I personally like the little quirks on this.  Makes me wanna do something similar to an upcoming update on a certain retexture/mod that I'm working on...

In any case, DJ, you rawk, my hat's off to you

Should work fine power wise as long as there is at least 1 'engine' system.

If you look at the HP's on my old Galaxy Class Mod Pack's, The saucer has four fusion generators, which are essentially just renamed impulse engine systems, but no warp core.

New problem, Pphaser script error in fresh install. I never had this problem with DJ galaxy before... I already knew about the import debug issue and was easily corrected, this is something new.
