Try checking out the Sims2 community. (Not just the filefront one) They may have what you're looking for, may.

They look really good. Could these be used in BC?

I was thinking the same thing, actually. BC is desperate for better crew models... personally, I'm so terribly sick of our current models...

The EF2 didn't look that bad but these are much better. I know it may be asking too much Baz, but it would be really cool if you could do TNG or VOY crew for BC.

Those are Poser models?

Then they are mostlikely (more likely than not) way too high poly for BC (or even EF2) use (mostlikely even too high use for NanoGE).
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Would they actually work though, no matter how bad the frame rate is? They would be great for screenshots.

Um, let's see, Poser, and Max (or some other renderer) works in so called "offline" mode to do it's things. So no realtime stuff.

How long did it take to render those images? More than a second?
In that case, don't even think about it, by the time you have renderd it, and pressed PrintScreen, you will be way later than that moment. If the PrintScreen button even reacts.

And that's even considering BC won't commit suicide just by loading it. ;)

Agreed the render time for the figures is a few seconds for basic rendering (over a minute in firefly). They could be stripped down alittle but not by much.

As for the shuttle I started I'm not happy with so may drop it from the project as USS Prime is making one also.

I'm planning to release the Bridge either today or tomorrow to anyone who wants it.
where is the best place to upload these models for easy access, I was going to list them free on turbosquid.

You can upload them to Filefront. I've always got decent speeds from there.

Then it's very unlikely that BC will even load them. ;)

I'm using Max 9.

I'll see if it converts to 3ds without losing the textures
