TMP Era Bridge
« on: June 03, 2008, 10:36:26 AM »
Hello all, I've started working in max again and come up with this. The bridge is set between IV & V but has features from the TNG Era.

Its taken about 4 days and currently stands at 14000 polys before optimization, comments are welcome as always.

Great bridge. With that single turbolift looks like a Miranda or Oberth class bridge. Keep up the good work!

Oh man, this is going to rock my TMP Bridge Module :P.

Are you going to make it with the actual ST5/ST6 buttons?

With post-TNG style Lcars and a few tweaks (like smoother consoles and streamlining certain things, and new chairs) I could easily see this being a Mithra Class bridge...

(just thinking aloud :P)

Looking good, certainly will make Matt Jefferys and Herman Zimmerman proud

Can't wait to see it with textures

Nice work.  I can remember back to LC telling me NOT to go over 6000 polys.  Now you guys are passing the 10k mark and going even higher.

we ran a test and had people comfortable up to 23k.. as with ships it seems that BC prefers polygons to large textures.
