Sexy Saffi?
« on: June 14, 2008, 02:55:25 AM »
On the cover of Bridge Commander, and in the manual, there is a detailed picture of Saffi, on the right side.  I was wondering if an accurate model for her was in the works.

first off... welcome to the forums (dont know if you have been welcomed as yet but there we are)
so to answer the question.. in short no. we're not using the BC bridge crew in excalibur.
and as far as i know 3rd era doesnt have any plans to make one. but that doesnt stop anyone else from doing so of course.

Suggestion
-Get Half-Life 2
-Get GMOD
-Make a Saffi model
-Use GMOD for what its good for, complete and total f***ery of characters models (exmaples include: launching them off custom made catapaults, strapping them to things used for propulsion, IE Petrol barrels, experiments using a bath tub, bombs, Gravity Gun)

In short, GMOD is great for stress relief. Someone should make a Saffi model for it. Would give me a way to get rid of pent up anger, lols.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Yeah and make her talking "We should not fire on friendly target captain" every 2 seconds :D I would use a combination of gravity gun and saw blade :D I love HL2 :P Someone should really make TMP/TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT crews the way EF2 crew was done ;)

Sexy huh? Don't know what you've got on your mind but if they can make a nude patch for Lara Croft
they can do one for Saffi (change the face too so you have something good to look at). Though some
may find it inappropriate to have naked commanders running around their bridge unless of course you're
a Ferengi; females don't deserve the right to wear clothing.

I guess you don't really get it...

I wish I had a good picture, but I don't, so I'll say it again.
Saffi, on the Bridge Commander box cover, actually looks GOOD.  Her name is still Saffi, but she looks sexy enough.  All the mods over at BCFiles are just really skins, but since the guys over at ST Excalibur (which is why I put this there) got good models over onto BC, I thought "Hey, since they got these over, maybe they can change around someone's head."  I'm no good, at least yet, so I though I'd ask.  Her head looks like Telsia's on the cover, so maybe a retex could be in order...  Just wondering if anyone was doing it, because the only good bodies came from the guys at Excalibur.

What's wrong with the EF2 Saffi? It matches her personality. :P
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Well nowadays people are making robots that you can actually have a relationship
with. Eventually they're going to phase out the rubber love dolls. Isn't science and
technology wonderful?

They aren't that far, and you will always be able to practicly predict (or rather, determine) their response. Or you will find it "uncanny". Either way, no real interaction.

For "true" interaction, you need atleast something that isn't deterministic (or so advanced, and so complex, that we can't phantom it, such as the brain really).

nothing against the thread author or anything - to each his own of course!  :)
but i am just a bit :lostit at the idea someone would consider a BC character "sexy" lol

I do grant you that, but the entire "fandom" of things like "anime" are based on something quite similar.
