Defiant Bridge Question
« on: June 20, 2008, 07:04:29 AM »
I was wondering if anyone had ever noticed the station behind the captain's chair? I believe it was a auxiluary tactical station added on during the dominon wars. I have seen both odo and worf standing at it, but at present can't find any shots of it, I even went to my DS-9 Technicnal Manual with no luck.  LOL I even pulled out an old Bridge tour CD I have by Simon & Schuesters from 98 I think it was nothing there either. I may have to get a screen shot from the DVDs.

We all know the bridge has gone through some overhauls, (i.e. HOLOCOM). Not looking to make a change just suddenly occured to me one day.

Thanks.

Windy

Well, download the 2 Defiant bridges out there, one with the HoloCom and one without, and use WalkFX. ;)

Or look in the WIP threads, if you can find them. They have schematics.

There wasn't any station on Defiant bridge but it was on Sao paulo bridge as well as different floor-more like Voyager floor, different chair side consoles, viewscreen coloristics etc. + additional station behind cpt. chair, tho that bridge appeard after first Defiant was destroyed so at the end of the series.

Yup, that is what I figured. thanks though.  The Sao Paulo was later renamed the defiant though, I guess that is why I hadn't drawn in any distingusishments. Thanks for your help though.

Anywayyy...I'd like to see the Sao Paulo's bridge, but I think the standard Defiant's bridge would need at least a slight overhaul, especially since the advent of WalkFX...I mean, really...a captain's chair that vanishes when the captain stands behind it. :P  And honestly, that "light" thing on the top front of the helm console could've been better. >.>
