Two 3dMax 3 errors

I'm getting two errors when I try to open max 3.

Hardware lock is where a program is shipped with a piece of hardware (usually a USB stick) that you would need to install or plug into your computer, along with installing drivers for that piece of hardware, in order to run the program. It would seem here that you haven't installed the drivers or have infact installed the wrong drivers. You should check out the manufacturers website for more information and possibly updated drivers for your hardware.

do you have your USB dongle inserted correctly?

We I talked to an SFC modeler who said it needed a crack as he called it to work on a XP its working fine now that I got the crack.
