two general heads-up

1) I'll be hosting a mp test server for the TAP pack on Sunday, August 23, at 18:00 GMT. anyone who is interested, is welcome.

2) I just detected, if anyone already tried to play it, that in MP (even though the ship names were expected to be missing) the icons won't show up. that's an error with BC's first install. the pack didn't include a ShipIcons.py, which was left as .py in BC's release. so, the .pyc I included in the pack will always be overwritten by the stock one. :S
nothing that affects gameplay, but an annoyance nonetheless, and something I didn't considered.

Nighthawk, one question though. Is this going to be 1.1 + TAP, or 1.1 + TAP Requirments in readme + TAP? If it's the second, how are we going to make sure everyone has the same foundation? If you install Foundation from BCSMC, it throws in a few extras. Either way, the Foundation issue comes into play. Also, I'll be there, hopefully.

yeah, I meant 24, sorry. I posted that after 12:00 am lol

basically, TAP doesn't work without the requirements.
it's Foundation from BCMP. you can copy it from the BCMP folder, no need to even execute BCMP. anyways, thanks for pointing that out, I didn't realize the one from BCSMC was different. I'll be running some tests on it this afternoon, and if there's no compatibility issue, I'll put the one from BCSMC as requirement.
have in mind that this package is released as Beta. much of the MP features weren't fully tested in the field. this would be the maiden voyage :P

those who use router, I'm using port 28900. the server is named "TAP test server"

then can anyone try putting another server up? maybe it's just me, being behind a router... but I do see other KM and 1.1 severs...
