I'm not FourChan but that's a bit silly doncha think? People would have downloaded it way before the Avenger comes out.

you should leave the shields up to the patron... personally, id be a little annoyed if i downloaded a ship and all my shields were changed and i wasnt expecting it...

Can't you assign the shields to one ship? Like the Romulans use a different shield than the Feds in BC.

Nope, shields are not race specific, in fact there is little one can customize with the shields save for color and texture.

I like the new textures very much. Great work

But sometimes, the shield bubble does't look complete round. Like if there was a piece of the shield missing.

I like how the shields react in my opinion, unlike where normal shields cause a charge across them, if you get hit in certain areas the shield grid in that area just lights up.

exactly - the rest is all hardcoded and cannot be altered... otherwise, we would have had skin shields and race-specific shields a long time ago ;)
