Olympic Class **update 11/25/08**
« on: September 23, 2008, 09:20:31 AM »
Seeing as i saw the huge dissapointment at the other thread that one was not being created i decided to make it, just have the necelles to finish up, its currently just over 2500 polys so it low mem friendly... saying that though i'll contradict that with the 2048 textures lol.. (thanks to FW for the screenies without which i would never have managed to get it so accurate)

anyway, i'll have the mesh finished tonight..

thanks.

You are SOOOOO bearing my children. xD

Excellent work. I've always wanted a really nice Olympic Class. If they make another KM, this MUST be included! :D It's one of my absolute favorite ships!

We have an incredible modeller among us! Worship him!!!

The Olympic really does look fabby and am looking forward to it!

Nice, I can't wait to see it finished. I hope you can make some variants also. I know the Olympic class is a medical ship and it looks good. But I would like to see some survey variants and stuff as well :P

Wow... a big bag of cookies,

thanks for all your warm and kind comments, i realise this needed to be done I just was not aware the ship would be this popular.

Once I have the necelles done, im going to reduce some polies here and there, before i start to map her out.. textures should be started by tomorrow afternoon, and will have a wip
of the necelles and beginning of the textures for you then.

Again thank you all very much.

Yes I also have some ideas about variants, it would be nice to make an olympic class with highly detailed necelles for one.. as the one they made for the show was a low budget model, and the necelles look somewhat plain.
