Cookie for the release and you can also consider it for the v3 JJPrise as well.  Geez, how do you work so fast?  :P

A year of practice, and good time management.

My only suggestions are to pull in the shuttle doors a bit, they kinda stick out too far, and the forward neck doesn't seem quite right yet.

I changed the neck to something I am starting to really like.  I built it using a cylinder, so it has the nice curves like it should be.

It looks finished already!
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

For the released Kelvins and JJPrise's, are there blank ID textures so we can mak our own? Just interested, and it would add greater variety.
I just sent the files to BCfiles.  This includes HIGH res textures for all of the ships (JJprise, Kelvin, Kelvinprise) and blank textures also.

I'm not seeing any other details on the nacelles that can't be done just as efficiently with textures.

And Wiley, I'm not intending to be picky, your new model is very, very, very nice, and I can't wait to see her textured.  And I certainly wish you the best of luck in getting this one ingame as well. :D

I'm going to reopen this as its unfair on Wiley, he after all, has done nothing wrong.

If people cannot behave and be civil with one another while responding to the thread owners wishes, then they will be taking a break from these boards.

I trust I am being totally, and completely transparent.

ok guys i have cleaned out the thread (again) of any offtopic posts or other nonsense...

this is the last time this will be asked:
PLEASE GUYS - stay ontopic!!  please do **not** post any more offtopic crap or nonsense!
PLEASE do not post ANY reference material about anything anymore...  remember: Wiley has made it crystal clear that he doesnt need any - if he does, he will ask and then that will be different...

remember guys - Wiley is one of BC's finest modders; he is going out of his way in his free time to make beautiful ships for all you guys to enjoy...  the least you guys could do is to please stop polluting his thread and dragging it off in all sorts of different directions with crap that is just taking up space and causing confusion and ruining his thread...

so please no more offtopic crap, no more reference material, be polite and civil to each other - but most of all have respect for Wiley and stop ruining his thread!  all we are asking for is some simple cooperation to that regard...  after this, warnings and/or bans will start going out very quickly at the first instance to anyone who refuses to cooperate - but im now asking all of you to please not to take it to that point...

thx :)

please no one but Wiley post after this post (no matter how long it takes) and the thread can go on from there...

I'll allow this one.

Sure.  :) To start off, the FFD modifiers will your friend and don't be afraid to use them-- they pretty much do the "sculpting" work for you.  The new nacelles are in 3 main parts.  The main section is a cylinder with about 10 height segments. The upper part is a sphere, and the lower section is another cylinder and both have been cut to shape.  Just build everything in sections and don't do everything at once.
