Have you given up on the Narada completely or are you going to give it another go sometime?
I've pretty much given up on the Narada. To make the ship look good, the polycount will greatly increase, and more problems with conversion for higher poly ships.

Quote
Also, what how bigs the poly count of the current one you have compaired to your other xi ships?
The proto-ambassador is currently 19.4k polys. I am also starting to think about working on the Enterprise-A again.

Is it just me or does it look like it would fit in really well with the new (xi) universe? What with the curved nacelle pylons and all?

It is based on Andy Probert's original concept for the Ambassador. It is how the Ambassador should have looked like. Instead, we got stuck with Jein's POS excuse of an Ambie as the cannon one...

After looking, it looks like the "trike" has that upper shuttlebay which the torpedo bay rests on.

Awesome!
From what I can tell, the saucers are quite different from one another.
Take a look at this pic: http://www.icgmagazine.com/wordpress/wp-content/images/trek1.jpg

From my attached image, the left saucer is what the "Trike" and the right one is the "Quad".

Oh, sorry. I meant after that last post no one post any more pics unless I say so. I made some alterations to the quad ship.

Awesome!!

Though both the trike and the quad have a spine leading from the bridge to the impulse engines...
(kinda like the JJ-Ent) also the struts(pylons) for the secondary hulls are connected further back closer to the impulse engine.

Looking good there Wiley, are you going to do the "bike"?  There's one that had only two nacelles, and I think it didn't have a roll bar.

Sweet ships. I can't wait to use them. When you release them can you do me a favor? A large one, when you release them can you update the Pack that these fit in, like category (Federation, Borg etc) and them in their own? Like Wileys XI Ships? :D

A very nice ship pack is underway, can't wait for them to come out, will you make some fixes on the Kelvin as well? The only minor difference between your excelent Kelvin and the one in the move is that your model lacks two small registry at the aft side of the upper saucer surface just nex to the engineering hull connection neck. Keep up the good work, I'm impressed by your works. :D

I like them but the Miranda roll bar and torpedo pod seems out of place.

But thats how they are in the film. Can't beat accuracy now can we? :P

Personally, I couldn't disagree more! I think the canon Ambassador fitted so much better. It bridges the gap between the Connie and the Galaxy perfectly.

I realize that. The way I mapped the saucer, one of the registries would be flipped when I add the the extra name. I guess we can live without it.

I will add my existing Kelvin ships (Kelvin, Kelvin-prise) to this mini pack and probably name the filename WCKelvin, so that there will be no overwriting scripts with other Kelvin ships. I guess everyone was fine how I did the JJ Enterprise having it's won filename in the ship selection screen. I will also change the impulse texture to something more like the movie.
