The fleet ships looks awesome! Are you going to give them different registries or leave them with the kelvins?

Though the ship was not in the movie, I'll name one of the ships USS Reliant. I think that is what everyone is waiting for.

The ship will almost be like the Trike ship, but will have 2 nacelles, like it should have.

EDIT- I'll probably rename the Kelvin-prise USS Constitution.

This is one thing I love about us Trek fans, we're always quick to pick on new things, even when they're ships which appeared for one second onscreen or far in the background. Wiley those ships look great, keep up the good work. :mrgreen:

Sweet, but i'm looking at the pic from the film right now and it definately doesn't have the old miranda roll bar. The torpedo(?) module is alot smaller and not as square.

I did this simple kitbash to reduce making new parts and use retextured versions. I'll start graying down the textures- more gray than tan. The tan color was from the star system's ambient color, so they should be more light gray.

Heehee! Just saw the film...and that looks just like it. I always thought Starfleet would've built a few slightly advanced ships between 2233 and 2258. Giving it a grey down would be good.

The Kelvin has been recolored and the registry has been weathered. Now to work on the rest of the ships.

Yes. A blank registry texture will also be included.

I kinda thought that the kelvin was more tan as it was older, and that the other ships were more gray as they had been built nearer the time of the Enterprise. Was the kelvin registry weathered to begin with, cos i thought that was a result of the damage it was taking. I can't exactly remember (only managed to see the film once
