Looks utterly beautiful. Though I was really looking forward to the blue glowing Bussard domes, in my eyes, those are what set this ship apart from the TMP refit.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

I'll just be glad when people stop making me drool, and start releasing.

I know one thing I'm looking forward to of his, although I'm not gonna hassle him, is a JJ refit.

Absolutely. Although I also know Wiley also got one in the works too. I'm interested to see what his take on it would be. :)

Don't worry, they will be released after they have been beta tested.

That's not on the top of my priority list. You already emailed me about it anyways.

well, SW is a bit overdue for ship model redo's  and I keep looking for that Medical Frigate.  I think the Mon Cal capital ships are out there somewhere.

Ironically, after I'd shut of my BC for a while to watch TV, I ended up turning it on to "Galaxy Quest".  BC is getting im my head, cause the first thing I did was start eyeballing the Protector for the textures, model shape, glows, etc.  I forgot that a proper version will need the MVAM tacked onto it.  I was also eyeballing Sarris's ship, and wondering how hard a BC conversion would be :P  if I could run a 3d program without needing a year or two to learn it, I'd be all over a new version of the Protector :P

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been busy with school and homework. Registries are completed on the 26+ ships for the Excelsior Fleet Pack (the list is from Ex Astris Scientia). I haven't got them ingame yet. I will also attempt to make a new TNG photon and quantum torpedoes, or I could ask permission to use existing ones. I will also organize the ship registries from earlier to later so I can determine which ships get a TMP, TNG, or Dominion War hardpoint.

There should be plenty of ships for people to use in their Youtube fanfilm videos. :)

Not really, registries aren't exactly huge textures.  One of the beauties of ID swapping.  :D

I better check wileys lists, in case he swiped my registry again...(and so I don't duplicate names on my independence class)

All of my ID map textures have WC in the starting name. For example, the USS Melbourne uses the WCexcelmelbID_glow texture.

no, I mean you beat me to an NCC number I was gonna use for my Independence classes.  specifically, NCC-2113 on the USS Alliance that I was gonna use on my USS Trikadeksa.  this also means I have to think up a whole new reg number, since you beat me to the 2100's  I also don't wanna end up duplicating your ship names.  I've run into too many people out there who are SO copyright sensetive, they'll sue you at the drop of a hat, so I'm not taking any chances.

I'm putting all of my BC projects on hold and locking this thread temporarily until my computer is fixed, because I am having problems with either a virus or a crappy graphics card or both. I have backed up all of my files (and ships), so no worries there.

Re: My WIPs - Excelsior Fleet Pack HP help needed- DON'T POST REFERENCE PICS!
« Reply #1657 on: September 25, 2009, 01:56:29 PM »
I'm back. My computer hasn't screwed up for over a week and I bought a new graphics card.

I am working on the Excelsior Fleet pack and the only thing that is slowing me down is making the HPs. Who wants to help make them? I know how to edit some bits of the HP using MPE, but I know some people are better at this(and have more time) than I am. For the people who are using my Excelsior Family Pack, how accurate are the HPs?

What I want:
TMP era: NX and USS
TNG and DS9. The DS9 one I can easily add more phaser coverage for the Lakota.

Don't worry about the Tactical Icon- I can do that. Also, just make the HPs work for any Excelsior, I can re-align them to my models.

Near as I could tell, they seemed spot on to me, just remember to adjust for any new phasers added.  Great to have ya back to modding Wiley.  :D

They looked right on the money to me too Wiley...and as always do I have permission to port these badboys to Armada as well? Straight ports no poly reduction at all.....
