I enjoyed the film, didn't watch the imperial version yet. Are ship designs the only change? To avoid copyright infringement so they could publish it commercially? (I remember my surprise when I saw Star Wreck for sale on a DVD stand!)

My Bridge Commander-honed eye for detail spotted "NCC-1701" still written on the nacelle tips of the Kalinka in the original version. That was a gorgeous connie model they used.

Anyway, Nice job on the Potkustart! All that remains to be said is:

All the Trek ships in the film were changed. Not sure about the Babylon 5 ships though. Haven't seen the Imperial Edition yet.

How are you going to hard point this thing? There really is no basis for strength cause the Babylon 5 ships have no shields.

The Kickstart is one mesh I might continue if I had nothing else to do. Right now, I have Dalek HPing my new Doomsday machine, and I'm designing a new JJ-Excelsior to accompany the JJprise v3 (or is it version 4). The JJ-Excelsior design can be seen in the Graphic Arts section here at bccentral.

You're on version 4 of the JJPrise.  :funny  Hopefully when the movie hits DVD, you'll be able to get some really good reference for the Enterprise.
