quick point-out on that schematic, the bussards are kinda hidden from the front, there, defeating their engineering purpose. One of Roddenberry's(?)
rules of starship design is that the bussards must be clear from th front, so as to intake partickes to replenish the matter/antimatter storage cells.

Also, might I suggest moving the nacelle pylons closer to the neck (not by much thou) and lengthening them a little bit? Might result in a more balanced top view, and a non-obscured front view

...and that's why this is a concept schematic. I will work the bugs out when I start building the 3D version.

otherwise, looks good!

The original excelsior has the same problem.

Design looks awesome, only changes i'd make are decreasing the curvature of the pylons slightly and either bulking up the nacelles abit or slimming the engineering hull; from the front it looks a bit too fat

Very, very nice.

Although, I think there is still some room for improvement. I attached a slight reshaping with a comparison to the original.

You can only streamline something so far before it starts looking like a slick'n'curly line. That's why I kept some of the original features the same and slightly altered others. Also, I might have drawn the ship just right, because fans like Johnnymuffintop are photoshopping it just like the JJprise.

That's really great. Only change I'd make is to lower the nacelle pylons to the fatter part. Seems a bit droopy if you get my drift...

Awesome design Wiley (and I usually don't like any JJverse designs). The only thing I think it needs is to widen the positioning of the nacelles. It looks squashed to me.

Hello again, I haven't posted here in a while due to college reasons. Anyway, I'm going to release some things for Christmas for everyone to play with and enjoy:

Excelsior/Centaur Fleet Pack
Doomsday Machine
Wrath of Khan Battle Pack (clean Enterprise, clean Reliant, battle-damaged low-powered deflector Enterprise)

I've included some screencaps featuring the WOK pack. I still got to package it up. That new nebulaeFX works awesomely!
