Can't wait for the Excelsior pack.  If only I was any good at redoing names and registries without it looking crooked.

While my files are being uploaded, I thought it would be nice to show the list of the 30 ships that will be featured in the Excelsior & Centaur Fleet Pack.

On a side note, WOOO 1000th post! :funny

The good thing about doing id map swapping is that all of the ships have blank textures so anyone can make the ship of their choice.

My problem will be picking which version.

It's the first large pack I have done that uses id map swapping in larger scale. 9thDawg tested it, and they all work. The black nacelle bands on all Excelsior ships (excluding DS9) will glow blue in warp. At the last minute, I also added a new folder that has the NanoFx blinkers for all ships for the people who want to use them or not.

The ship registries were based from Ex Astris Scientia and Memory Alpha and a few that I added for fun.

Very well done ships Wiley, I'm especially fond of your Connie, she's absolutely beautiful, and flies great.  But most of all, what with the modelled botanical garden and pretty much everything else about it adds up to a spectacular visual treat.  I have yet to test her against the Reliant, but you can bet I will.

Also, your Doomsday Machine is brutal against ships of the TOS-TMP era, even the Atriau.  I took the Atriau against it, and one well placed blast from the DM blew her shields away then hit her reactor.  The crew probably didn't know what hit them.

I am very happy that everyone is enjoying the ships I have released despite the problems I had while uploading one of them. I was really happy how the Doomsday Machine looks and plays ingame. I would like to thank Dalek for hardpointing it.

doomsday machine is one nasty beast to kill. heck, I needed to use one of the galaxy refits ( nacelle phaser strips and quantums) to bring it down.. it took all torps and even the reserve battery was running low before that thing went boom.

Just out of interest, are you going to be making the full set of constitutions and mirandas (like you have with the excelsior),
Or will you be sticking to the main ones(Ent, Ent-A, Reliant)?

Your Excelsiors are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to get them installed :D

Well, it is an anti-proton beam, probably the most powerful weapon in the galaxy ('twas my viewpoint on such a thing. The Atraiu would never have been powerful enough anyway unless it had about 4 warp cores). :)

As someone who's read the old "Ships of the Star Fleet" books, I wouldn't mind seeing the Phase II with USS Constitution markings.  Maybe you could release a mixed pack, kinda like you did with the Excelsiors and Refit Excelsiors.
