I think I have enough votes. I just wanted a general opinion and thanks for that. :D It looks like people like versions 1 and 3 with a slight bit of 4. I'll do a few more sketches of possible variants combining the versions. I think the recent voting should be removed so that I can create a separate thread/poll of the ship's components.

Why would calling it the Enterprise-F matter and why/what good would trying to agigate anyone serve? None of these ships are canon so it doesn't matter if names are taken (Not that it'd matter even if they were canon), just as long as the ships all point to unique files.

I've gotta say, as of late it seems a common trend for everyone to throw in names for ships, and while, yes, people do at times ask for some inspiration, it seems extermely common for people to jump to handing out names before the modder is even ready or at that stage of development... Anyway...

Wiley, I'm loving this design. Sharp, sleek and elegant without a doubt. I for one will be keeping a close eye on it (Who am I kidding? I've been following your thread as far back as I can remember.  :funny )

Just a thought   :D
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I've now added the new deflector, and weapon arrays. I have a few minor areas to add polys to, mainly around the command level area to make it rounder. Overall, it is currently 4.7k polys. :)

Pretty much, but I still have to tweak the area around the bridge.

Fine looking ship you got there Wiley, I see design elements from at least 5 different ships: Achilles, Akria, Dauntless, Norway, and Prometheus. This baby looks It could glide through slipstream and unleash hell In a moments notice. Is there a shuttle bay on this beast?
Have a look at my website MeteorCreations

im not so sure about the deflector. imo an akira-styled deflector would have been better. but ill wait til its ready, you never know  :)

The shuttlebay is located top-aft, between the pylons.

That could have looked better, but we have seen it so many times before. We are too comfortable of what we already know. I wanted to do something new.

I love the look of this ship.   Definatley looks like what  Federation starship Design would evolve to.

Totally agree with you here on this, Wiley.  I think the deflector looks great.  You could always split it.  Lol :)

Anyhow, I love this baby, I wish I had come up with it.

Well... you could always design something which was inspired by this design.  As in this is Starfleet's first Quantum Slipstream Ship and they will most likely design and build more :D

I named and started texturing the ship yesterday. The ship's name is the USS Proteus NX-100806, Proteus-class, the second ship would be the Valiant. The texturing is based off of the Aventine. The ship features new single person escape pods that are not as bulky as the earlier versions. Enjoy. :)

bear in mind DJ's USS Valiant; name might cause a slight confusion?

That thing's color scheme actually reminds me a bit of the Sentinel from Star Trek Invasion. Brilliant!
