You wouldn't happen to have that last image (Proteus3.jpg) in a widescreen desktop size? cheeky
1440x900. Would look awesome as my new wallpaper.
Sorry, no. That is my biggest game resolution and I do not have a widescreen monitor.

No worries. Solved it with some minor cropping and resizing without losing too much of the quality :)

Mod of the year right there! Love the design at the back(on top), flows with the design on the shuttle bay...it almost looks a little Romulan too.
All hail the messiah!

Hello all from sunny Anaheim, CA!! Still on vacation but I'm typing this from my laptop in my hotel room.

Awesome work Wiley!

But, I have to state that even though your intent was to have a hidden bridge there's something about seeing that that just... feels disconcerting. It seems, for lack of a better word - unbalanced. Maybe a subtle hump with some "details" added might give it more balance. It just looks like it's missing something, like a ship that's not fully built yet.

Just my opinion of course. Regardless, she looks great.

If you think the Proteus looks unbalanced, I've started work on my Enterprise-D. I'm paying attention to the smoothing on this one to make it will look perfect. I haven't decided on which version I'm building. The schematics I'm using suggest the 4-footer version, but I like the 6ft version also. I still can add the separation feature but it was used rarely in the series. Anyways, enjoy! The picture does not show off the final smoothing, it's still a work-in-progress.

Giving DJ a run for his money eh?  :P

Looks good so far :)

Well, Dj's is outdated. What, a year? xD

Wiley, how can it be a true Galaxy if it can't seperate? :p

I'd say any galaxy would be good, though I'm more partial to the 4 footer. I always preferred the look of the secondary hull on that version.

Looks to be a good start. So uhm, because someone is going to be asking it sooner or later:

Galaxy X in the pipeline?  :angel

No, his is purely inspiration as is the SNS version (which does not separate).

I'll see what I can do about making saucer separation possible.

We have been needing a new one. I'll think about it. :) it would make some nice screenshots.

Does this mean you're releasing the Proteus or halting it?

If the Galaxy X is on the table, could i suggest a non canon this that would make the pack perfect? A new up to date version of LC's EAV Galaxy would complete the best pack yet. Great work.

I'll be releasing the Proteus after Tiqhud hardpoints it (I haven't asked him, he's currently working on Furswift's SW ships). Remembering from past history of myself releasing ships, the next possible time for me to release ships would be around Christmas.

That would be cool, but it's a lot to do. Once I have the ship built, I'll start thinking about variants. People like variants. :)
